"La Casa di Francesca" restaurant, opened in 2010, is situated near the Trasimeno Lake, in the wonderful country between Umbria and Tuscany. Francesca and Daniele will welcome you with courtesy and professionalism in a polished location for lunches, dinners, business events or little ceremonies.
The restaurant has two air-conditioned rooms decorated in a simple and elegant way and an open space with a veranda surrounded by jasmines and a well finished garden where you can eat during spring and summer.
The chef Francesca proposes traditional umbrian and tuscan dishes revisited with creativity, joining typicalness and refinement. In our kitchen we only use seasonal ingredients and quality italian products to prepare homemade pasta, delicious courses with meat and fish and excellent desserts.
The menu even includes meals for people with allergies or food intolerances and celiac people (on request). In addition, the restaurant organizes excellent mushrooms, truffle or fresh fish themed dinners.
Pushed by the big passion for the umbrian and tuscan kitchen, in 2014 we have inaugurated the 'Trasimeno Cooking School', offering cooking classes of different levels to discover the secrets and techniques of our chefs.
The classes (minimum 4 people) take place in a dedicated room where you will find the necessary equipment and receive a free apron, a recipe book and a certificate. According to the menu agreed, the chef will teach you to cook the traditional recipes that you will taste together at the end of the lesson.
In the shop of our Cooking School you will find typical umbrian and tuscan products and products packaged by the chef on sale: wine, extra virgin olive oil, sauces and ready-made sauces, pasta, honey, marmelades and saffron.

'La Casa di Francesca' restaurant is situated in Ferretto, between Cortona and Castiglione del lago, in the green country between Umbria and Tuscany on the lakeshore.
Coming from Arezzo or the Siena-Perugia highway ( exit Castiglione del lago), along the regional road 71 in the direction of Castiglione del Lago, overcoming Borghetto town and shortly after turn right towards Ferretto town Continue for 2 km until you reach Ferretto town and take the first left. The restaurant is located just after on the right.
